Jennifer Senior, DNP, NP-C has practiced nursing within the field of Gastroenterology/Hepatology for over 13 years. She began working with Dr. Tejinder Glamour in 2004, who mentored her throughout her career. Jennifer obtained her Master of Science in Nursing degree with a focus on Adult Health from the University of South Florida in 2009 and is nationally certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She was chosen out of her graduating class to receive the Clinical Excellence Award. 

 

Dr. Senior achieved her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree in 2016 from South University.  She was inducted into the Sigma Theta Tau International Society of Nursing for excellence in scholarship and leadership in nursing upon graduation. Her doctoral dissertation, entitled “Dietary & Supplemental Therapies in Crohn’s Disease: Promoting Self-Care through Knowledge”, was published in 2017 in the Virginia Henderson International Nursing repository and selected for presentation at the 28th International Nursing Research Congress in Dublin, Ireland. Dr. Senior was award the Edith Anderson Leadership in Education grant in 2017 to continue her research in the area of Crohn’s disease education.
